Denmark is the southernmost of the Nordic countries, located southwest of Sweden, south of Norway and bordered to the south by Germany. Denmark consists of a peninsula, Jutland, and the Danish archipelago, comprising of Zealand, Vendsyssel-Thy, Funen, Lolland, Falster, Bornholm and hundreds of minor islands. The national language, Danish, is closely related to Swedish and Norwegian. |
